Josh Brody, Booklr Founder
Josh Brody is the co-founder of Booklr. Previously, Josh was the first employee and the Director of Operations at Media Rights Capital, a diversified media financing company with operations in filmed entertainment, television programming, and digital entertainment content. MRC's investors include some of the most recognized and respected media and investment firms, including Goldman Sachs, WPP Group PLC and AT&T. MRC has created such films as The Adjustment Bureau and Babel; and television series The Ricky Gervais Show (HBO), Shaq Vs. (ABC) and The Goode Family (ABC).
Prior to MRC, Josh was an Agent Trainee at William Morris Endeavor Entertainment.
Josh received an M.A. and B.A. from the University of Chicago, and an MBA from Columbia Business School. He grew up in Los Angeles, CA.
Jesse Solomon, Booklr Founder
Jesse Solomon is the co-founder of Booklr. Previously, Jesse was an Associate Fund Manager at VR Capital, a Moscow-based hedge fund managing over $2 billion. As the head investment manager in the firm's Dubai office, Jesse was responsible for sourcing and managing investments across the Middle East and nearby regional markets. He also spent several months in Ethiopia analyzing ways to solve the world's food problems with investments in agriculture.
A voracious reader, Jesse started writing his first novel last year. When he's not reading everything he can get his hands on, he likes to work on his burgeoning future as a banjo rockstar. Jesse received his B.A. with Honors from the University of Chicago. He grew up in the Bay Area, CA.
Jason Joseph, Developer
Jason Joseph is a Developer at Booklr. Previously, Jason was a Senior Consultant at Hitachi Consulting where he advised corporate clients on technology services. Jason received his B.S. from the University of Southern California in Computer Science and Economics. He grew up in San Diego, CA.
Jake Mack, Developer
Jake Mack is a Developer at Booklr. Previously, Jake was a Software Engineer at Big Stage Entertainment, a vision research company. Jake received an M.S. and B.S. from the University of Southern California in Computer Science. He grew up in Wisconsin.
